Art Therapy Guidance

The goal of art therapy is to discover creative solutions to challenging and difficult questions. Artistic skills are not required in this therapeutic process, as the focus is not on creating artwork but on the act of creating itself.
At the beginning of our session, we will briefly discuss the issues on your mind. I will then guide you through artistic exercises using predetermined techniques such as cutting out magazine images, drawing, painting, or even using photography as an art therapy tool. We can also reflect on any thoughts or emotions that arise during the creative process.
I have developed exercises for processing challenging emotions like grief, fear, and anger. Please note that while I am not a therapist, our work together will be oriented towards finding coping strategies in a solution-focused manner.
